The future of urban mobility IN edinburgh

The Future of Urban Mobility will be meeting in Edinburgh, to discuss the key opportunities and challenges for the future of transport in the city.

The meeting will be held at the Caledonian Hotel and will start with an introduction from Alastair Dalton, Transport Correspondent at The Scotsman. This will be followed by introductory remarks from Urban Mobility Partnership representatives Robert Andrew, Managing Director, Scotland (Stagecoach) and Diane Mulholland, General Manager and Vice President, Scotland and Northern Ireland (Enterprise).

Stagecoach and Enterprise will briefly introduce three policy issues:

  1. Mobility Credits (James Lancaster of Enterprise)
  2. Grey fleet use (Diane Mulholland of Enterprise)
  3. Planning policy (Robert Andrew of Stagecoach)

In attendance will be a range of Scottish politicians and senior representatives from the transport sector. The findings from the roundtable will form part of a major report that UMP will publish in the Spring.
